This is nothing like how Reaktor works, assuming you don't have some weird attachment to strictly using the standalone version. You have juts to mux your 360-degrees video with your new 4-channels. Bidule beside replacing Multi Instruments it can also be used as an Instrument Input. A phase of path creation executes a breadth-rst search distributed algorithm, looking for the shortest path. I love Bidule for the freedom of midi and audio routing.
I had to do this a few times years ago when I was in school and it was a pain in the ass, so I can definitely see the appeal of native VST support for that market. The basic idea of the algorithm is to construct paths between sources and targets by dynamically conguring multiplexers, and by letting the data follow the same path for each pair of source and target. The process consumes one analog input and three digital pins on the Arduino (plus the RX and TX pins of course). Max then does software-based demultiplexing. A hardware multiplexer is used for this (a 4051).
MUX VS BIDULE SOFTWARE
So? I do too-I could list mine too if you want, but it really has no bearing whatsoever on the discussion.Īs for the Reason update, I would conjecture that it occupies a niche as a self-contained piece of music production software for which the lack of 3rd party plugin support has always been a conspicuous liability and since it is strictly a standalone application, the only way to integrate it into a more well-rounded production environment is by running it alongside your other DAW as a ReWire slave. The aim here is to read 8 pots into the Arduino using a single analog input and to send this data to Max/MSP. MUX Modular - a high-quality and flexible modular synth and effect plug-in.
MUX VS BIDULE SERIES
Given that you can route audio in series or in parallel in any standard DAW, and that those signal chains are amenable to further routing and summing, I'm still at a loss for what you could accomplish by hosting plugins within Reaktor that you can't with your DAW and rather than make your case, you've just said several times now that you own a lot of cool plugins. Depending on the language, this can either be easy or frustratingly difficult.
